The Production Worker position operates manufacturing equipment or performs general laborer work that supplies raw materials, products or service associated with the manufacture and processing of tires and tire products. Position may require lifting/carrying product weighing 50-75 pounds repeatedly over a 12 hour work period.
Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, G.E.D. or the Workforce Center's Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) with a minimum of Silver Certificate level, 18 years or older, one year of continuous employment in manufacturing, construction or military environment. Must be able to pass a hair drug screen and background check.
Pay: Most positions are incentive piece rated positions. Minimum pay while training is $15/hour. Tier pay scale reaches 100% after 36 months.
